Renowned journalist and philanthropist, Comrade Sola Adebayo, has been commended for his humanitarian gestures, particularly to journalists in Delta State and beyond.
Comrade Adebayo recently marked his birth anniversary, which attracted goodwill messages from Deltans, including the Managing Director of the Delta Printing and Publishing Corporation (DPPC), Mrs Rosemary Nwaebuni.
Mrs Nwaebuni celebrated Comrade Adebayo for his philanthropic disposition and for rendering help to journalists in their most difficult moments, praying that God’s blessings will be ceaseless in his household.
She encouraged other journalists who are economically privileged to emulate the selflessness of Comrade Adebayo in supporting their colleagues who may be in need in one way or another.
Nwaebuni wished Comrade Adebayo many more years of good health, fulfilment and continued relevance, and prayed that his wealth of experience would remain a source of guidance and inspiration to the media industry and society at large.
Recall that Comrade Adebayo recently rendered financial assistance to a staff member of DPPC, publishers of The Pointer Newspaper, with a generous donation, a gesture that excited the journalism profession in the state.
