THE Chairman, Delta Printing and Publishing Corporation (DPPC), Pastor Austine Igbine, yesterday, assured ambassadors of the Association of Beauty Queens and Kings of the corporation’s media support in promoting their humanitarian and tourism-related projects. Pastor Igbine gave the assurance when members of the association paid a courtesy and state working visit to the corporation’s headquarters in Asaba.

Addressing the delegation, the DPPC Chairman commended the ambassadors for their positive impact in society, particularly through initiatives to promote tourism and community development.

He emphasized that The Pointer Newspaper, remains a credible voice for Deltans for over 31 years, upholding the principles of responsible journalism, accuracy and accountability.

Pastor Igbine described the visit as a useful engagement that promotes collaboration among different organizations and encouraged the group to always engage the corporation early enough before their major events to ensure adequate publicity.

The DPPC Chairman also commended the association for identifying with the corporation and prayed for greater strength and focus as they continue their humanitarian work.

Earlier, the spokesperson of the Association, Queen Henrietta Raymond, said the forum brings together all crowned queens and kings in the country with a shared vision of rebranding the image of pageantry, fostering societal growth and creating a platform for collaboration.

She explained that the visit was to seek the corporation’s partnership in publicizing their activities and to commend the DPPC for its contribution to the state’s development.

Queen Henrietta also invited the corporation to the association’s forthcoming National Conference and 14th Anniversary Celebration, scheduled to hold on November 28, 2025, in Cross River State.

She further solicited sponsorship for the group’s ongoing Rural Palliative Empowerment Project, which targets widows, orphans, and the elderly in rural communities across the country.
