AS part of the welcome back initiative, Oleh Progressive Minds Association (OPMA) has embarked on a tour across public schools in Oleh community, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta state.
The exercise, which was led by the Secretary of the association, Barr. Akpos Edeno in line with its mandate of promoting academic excellence was highlighted with recognition of outstanding pupils in their respective classes and presentation of school bags containing essential learning materials and water bottles.
While addressing the pupils during the event, he however emphasized the importance of education, adding that, education remains the foundation of progress and development and should be prioritized.
He noted that the association has resolved to contribute meaningfully to the standard of education and remain fully dedicated to acknowledge hardwork and diligence as he encouraged the pupils.
He commended parents and guardians for laying the foundation for a brighter tomorrow for their wards by investing in their education, as well as the contributions of teachers and school authorities towards the moral and academic growth of the pupils.
In their remarks, the schools administrators, expressed gratitude to the association for undertaking the strategic initiative at the beginning of a new academic session.
