2027: We ’ll Vote Oborevwori To Appreciate His Love, Support –Muslim Cleric

AHEAD of the 2027 general elections, a Muslim cleric, Alhaji Ibrahim Nwadu, has assured that the Muslim faithful in their large numbers would support Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to appreciate him for his love and support.

He lauded the state governor and his cabinet, assuring him of continuous peace between Muslim faithful and their host communities.

He gave the assurance during a media chat with newsmen, yesterday in Asaba, the state capital.

Nwadu who is the Delta State Chairman, Council for Islamic Affairs (DSCIA), said the establishment of cattle ranches will end regular crises between herders and farmers in the country.

He appealed to the herders in the state to embrace the ranching directive by the Federal and state governments.

Nwadu who is also the Vice President General, Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Delta State chapter said “Islam is the umbrella tent of unity that educates on peaceful co-existence in society.”

“I am not a business man, I don’t have cows or ranches, but my interest is peace among herders and host communities “ .

The Islamic leader said as the state chairman of Islamic Affairs, his duty is to ensure continuous peace, unity and love between the Muslims faithful and their host Communities.

He appealed to the state government to continue to create an enabling environment in assisting the herders to succeed.

Nwadu said establishing cow feed mills at a subsidized rate would help herders to establish cattle ranches.
