AN internationally acclaimed Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in the United States of America, Vebrom Care Foundation, has awarded scholarships to talented indigent students drawn from four government-owned secondary schools in the Ibusa community,
The scholarship scheme, which is aimed at promoting access to quality education among underprivileged students, reflects the foundation’s sustained interest in community development and youth empowerment.
The landmark event, sponsored by philanthropist Dr. Henry Ajudua Obi and his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Vivian Ajudua, in partnership with Vebrom Care Foundation, was held at Omu Mixed Secondary School, Umuodafe, Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area.

Onianwa further highlighted the foundation’s past contributions to the community, noting that Vebrom Care Foundation has previously supported socio-economic development initiatives, provided potable water through borehole projects, and organized free medical outreaches for eye care, prostate treatment, and other health needs.
He described Dr. Henry Ajudua Obi and his wife as rare personalities who, despite residing in the United States, have consistently demonstrated love, care, and commitment to the Ibusa community and its environs, praying for God’s continued blessings upon them.
Similarly, another member of the foundation’s coordinating team, Mrs. Ngozi Njideaka, urged students to take their education seriously, emphasizing that education remains the bedrock of success in life.
“I enjoin you all to shun examination malpractice, cultism, and all forms of negative activities, and to remain focused on your studies in order to secure a better future” she said.
