Security Operatives In Search Of Kidnapped Mother, Three-Month-Old Baby In Delta

Security operatives in Delta State are on the trail of suspected kidnappers that abducted a three months old baby and the mother.

According to a family source, the kidnap of Mrs. Marian Aganbi and her three month-old-baby, Pedro, remains shocking to them.

The close family source said that the kidnap occurred along Eku-Abraka Road when she was returning from a visit to her parents who live in Eku, in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.

The source also disclosed that via a chat and call to the husband of the victims, the kidnappers demanded the sum of N15 million for the wife and N10 million for the baby, totalling N25 million.

According vigilante operative, joint security search for the kidnapped mother and child is ongoing, assuring that soon, they would be rescued.

However, a police source in Abraka told our correspondent that police had already been placed on red alert in order to rescue the victim and the young child.

He appealed to members of the public with relevant information to make it available to police, adding that police operatives are doing their best to rescue the victims.

However, when contacted on phone, yesterday, Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, said the matter was not reported to the police officially, adding that efforts on to get to the root of the matter.
