An Assistant Pastor with Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Pastor Ufuoma Akomeyoma, has allegedly disappeared with over N30 million belonging to more than 200 investors after shutting down her investment outfit, Jehovah Nissi Global Services in Delta State.
She reportedly vanished in November 2025 after telling associates she was going to a mountain for prayers.
Akomeyoma, who operated a thrift (osusu) and investment scheme in the Okuokokor–Osubi area, had built public trust due to her role as a church pastor.
Victims said the scheme initially paid returns, which encouraged more people to invest.
However, the business later collapsed amid alleged poor management, loan defaults and misappropriation of funds.
Several investors said their savings ranging from tens of thousands to over ₦600,000 remain trapped, while the company’s office has been locked and her phone lines switched off.
The matter has been reported to the police, with some staff members reportedly arrested for questioning as investigations continue while the suspect remains at large.
