IN a bid to give back to the society, the Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, , Elder Sheriff Oborevwori and Sapele APC Ward 4 Woman Leader, Mrs Marian Oghoro and the Special Assistant to Hon Bright Abeke on Girl-Child Mobilization, Mrs. Arueyingho Ajejevwe have played host to thewomen of APC, Ward 4 to mark 2025 Mother’s Day Celebration.
The duo in their remarks listed the importance of mothers to the society, saying that every man on planet earth was given birth to by a woman and their incredible love, strength , sacrifices, kindness, wisdom and endless patience among other virtues need to be celebrated.
According to them, “today we are celebrating our mothers, telling all of them thank for being there for us at every point in time. We are here to give little gifts to all as our little way of showing appreciation and putting smile on their faces.”
The oldest woman among them, Mrs. Mary Aberhi, commended the women leaders for remembering and honouring mothers on such a joyous occasion as she prayed for them to be older than her and their children to do same to them.
Highpoint of the ceremony was the prayers offered for Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori , Sapele Local Government chairman, Chief Bright Abeke Afure, Olorogun Benson Odjiyovwi Okorodudu and other leaders in ward 4 for more wisdom for them to rule the people well and return come 2027 general elections.
