THE newly posted Area Commander to Ughelli Area Command, Mr Aliyu Shaba has vowed to bring his wealth of crime fighting to his new base for what he is known for.
Speaking while he paid a familiarization visit to the Ughelli North Council Chairman, Aliyu Shaba appealed for support in making the command under him a safe haven for the residents and investor. Mr. Aliyu Shaba who has just been promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP is known as a crime burster and his coming to Ughelli will reduce crime
While he was a Ovwian division as DPO, he chased criminals from UDU local government after which he was transferred to Ekpan division before he was promoted to the Rank of ACP and his first point of resumption is the Ughelli Area Command.
Known for his crime fighting, Mr Aliyu Shaba was recognized and honoured by the former Uvwie Council Chairman in 2024 and nationally honored for his doggedness in crime bursting.
Ughelli residents that are acquainted with his history are happy with him and have promised to cooperate with him in crime fighting.
