THE members of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Agbor Branch has scored the administrative performance of Chairman, Ika North East Local Government Area, Hon. Monday Hukanma Odigwe high, appreciating him for keeping up to his campaign promises to the residents of the area. The NBA commendation came on the heels of the list of ongoing projects and others that have been commissioned since he was elected into office a year and few months ago.
The members gave their scores card during their courtesy visit to the chairman in his office in Owa-Oyibu the administrative Headquarters of Ika North East local government area of Delta State.
The branch of the association, which is an umbrella body of legal practitioners, comprised of NBA members from Ika South, Ika North East and Ukwuani Local Government Areas of Delta State .
Speaking during the visit, Barr Ambrose Egunatu, who led some of the accredited members on the visit to the local government Secretariat in Owa-Oyibu, used the medium to congratulate the chairman for his well-deserved victory at the polls and also to commend him for his administrative landmarks in service delivery and projects execution across the local government area.
Pointing out that his administrative legacies in keeping up to his campaign promises was a testament of his administrative commitment to improve the lives of people in the council. A commitment and dedication, which, he said, had began to call for appreciation and commendation for him as one of the the best local government council chairman in the country.
The association chairman further used the opportunity to solicit for the local government council assistance in the building of the branch NBA House, which he said was at its decking stage.
Responding, Hon. Odigwe praised the association for their efforts in embarking on the building of such a befitting edifice to host members from the chapter of the legal association in the area.
While pledging the council support to the association’s building project , assured them that his administration would be committed to contribute their quota to the ongoing NBA building project in the area.
Urging them to uphold to the highest values and ethics of Legal professions.
Some of the NBA members who was on the visit with Barr Egunatu includes Barr Sunday Gbenoba and Barr Ifeanyi Aghaulor among others accredited members in the area.
