Eyavwien Ruling House Lays Foundation Stone For Royal Hall Building

LEGAL luminary and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Olorogun Albert Akpomudje at the weekend led the Eyavwien Ruling House to lay the foundation stone for a royal hall at Oviri Olomu, Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State.

The event, described as a significant step towards fulfilling a long generational aspiration and a rallying point for the Eyavwien descendants, was seen as a major process in the planned ascendency of Eyavwien into the traditional rulership of Olomu kingdom.

The Eyavwien Ruling House of Olomu kingdom comprises Oviri-Olomu, also the traditional headquarters of the sub-clan, Ophori-Olomu, Akperhe -Olomu and Okpavuerhe-Olomu.

Speaking at the foundation laying which attracted notable sons and daughters of the Eyavwien subclan, the apparent to the Ohworode Olomu throne and Otota of the kingdom expressed gratitude at the opportunity of leading the descendants of the ruling house to lay the foundation stone for the EYAVWIEN people.

Olorogun Akpomudje while addressing the Eyavwien descendants who gathered at Oviri -Olomu called for harmonious working relationship, adding that peace and unity remain vital in driving the common purpose needed to build physical structure as well as human resources for the ruling house.

In his remarks at the occasion, Chairman, Eyavwien Ruling House, Chief Samuel Obamohweyere, noted that the hall was significant considering its strategic role as symbol of unity and harmony.
