DSCHC Staff Celebrate Akpoveta’s Birthday

STAFF of the Delta State Contributory Health Commission (DSCHC) have poured encomiums on the Director-General of the Commission, Dr. Isaac Akpoveta, describing him as a jolly and compassionate leader with an unwavering commitment to ensuring that all Deltans have access to quality healthcare.

The staff made the commendation while celebrating the Director-General on the occasion of his birthday, marked at the Commission’ s headquarters in Asaba.

They lauded Dr. Akpoveta’s people-centred leadership style, noting that his vision and dedication have continued to drive the successful implementation of the Delta State Contributory Health Scheme, especially for vulnerable and underserved residents across the state.

According to them, the Director-General’s passion for unive rsal health coverage, transparency, and teamwork has fostered a positive work environment and strengthened the Commission’s resolve to deliver efficient and affordable healthcare services.

The staff prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and strength for Dr. Akpoveta, expressing confidence that under his leadership, the DSCHC would continue to record significant milestones in advancing healthcare delivery in Delta State.

Responding to goodwill messages , Dr. Isaac Akpoveta, applauded staff of the Commission for the warm show of love and solidarity extended to him on the occasion of his birthday. He described the gesture as a source of encouragement and renewed motivation to do MORE in advancing quality healthcare delivery in Delta State. He expressed appreciation for the cooperation, dedication, and professionalism of the staff, noting that the achievements recorded by the Commission were the result of collective effort and teamwork.

The Director-General praised both senior and junior staff for their commitment, diligence, and teamwork, noting that the Commission has gained recognition both locally and internationally for its contributions to quality and affordable healthcare in line with the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

The DG further announced that the anniversary of the Commission will henceforth be marked, with invitations extended to former staff to join in the festivities.

Akpoveta reiterated his commitment to the vision of the Commission, stressing that access to affordable and quality healthcare for all Deltans remains a top priority of the present administration.
