The Delta Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has urged the newly promoted officers to renew their commitment and dedication to duty.
The Command also urged them to work assiduously towards ensuring safety on highways.
The Sector Commander, Mr Frederick Ogidan, said this at the decoration ceremony of the newly promoted officers and 25 Marshalls held in Asaba, yesterday.
The Sector commander, who congratulated the personnel on their promotion, urged them to see the promotion as a motivation towards greater performance.
“Promotion comes with more responsibilities, we expect a renewed commitment to duty by working tirelessly to reduce crashes on our highways and uphold the corps’ lifesaving mandate,” he advised.
Ogidan who reiterated the corps’ commitment towards improving the welfare of all its personnel, called on Nigerians to cooperate with the FRSC towards ensuring safety on highways.
Speaking on behalf of the decorated personnel, Assistant Corps Commander (ACC) Mrs Gloria Iredia, the most Senior Officer decorated, expressed appreciation and promised to be more committed to duty.(NAN)
