A Catholic priest, Rev. Father Jude Iwediunors, urged christians to be an intercessors of their various families.
He made this statement yesterday, at the Igbo day celebration held in St Augustine Catholic Church Akwuofor, Asaba.
Fr. Jude who preside over the Holy Mass encouraged Christians to be prayerful and pray without doubting God, emphasizing the importance of prayer and how Abraham played the role of intercessor, interceding between man and God, when God decided to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah for their atrocities.
He stated that they ought to pray without doubting God, not considering the situation of the country, adding that in the midst of difficulty God is present and still answering prayers, noting that the devil understands importance of prayer and that is why he keeps fighting prayer lives of Christians today.
Fr. Iwediunor advised Christian faithful to keep praying noting that prayer is the masters key. If Jesus Christ the master of all things, visible and invisible could pray, same is applicable to his followers he said, stressing that they have a sense of adoration and a strategy in communicating with their God.
He emphasized that Christians must adopt the culture of prayer not relenting and not letting the devil to accuse them for the devil is roaming around looking for who to devour he concluded.
