The former Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, has reportedly died at the age of 71, passing away in a Saudi Arabian hospital on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, after an illness, just before his 72nd birthday.
His death was confirmed by judiciary sources and the Nigerian Association of Muslim Law Students (NAMLAS).
