Bobo Calls On Ethnic Nationalities To Support Tantita, Otuaro

IN a strong call for unity and patriotism, prominent Niger Delta leader, High Chief Wellington Bobo, the  Oroupawei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, has urged Nigerians to jettison ethnic sentiments and instead prioritize national interest in the ongoing efforts to secure the nation’s critical oil and gas assets.

Speaking to newsmen in Warri, Delta State, Chief Bobo commended the sterling achievements of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, the private surveillance company contracted by the Federal Government to protect Nigeria’s oil and gas pipelines, under the leadership of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo).

According to the revered High Chief, Tantita has proven beyond doubt that indigenous capacity can deliver results when given the opportunity and adequate support to do so in the interest of the people.

Chief Bobo called on leaders of all ethnic nationalities of Urhobo, Ijaw and  ltsekiri to advise their people particularly the youths to avoid making inflammatory speeches that can stir up chaos. He emphasized that there is need to appreciate the good works of Tompolo instead of casting aspersions.

He emphasized that the success of Tantita and the Amnesty Programme under the current leadership should serve as a model for national integration, stressing that it is time to rise above ethnic, regional, and political divisions.

In the  same vein,  he Commended the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Administrator, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, for his strategic engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders in the Niger Delta, noting that his approach has brought relative peace and stability to the region and the system which is total delivery on his mandate.

He therefore called on the Federal Government to consolidate the gains made so far by Tompolo  through Tantita and  the Otuaro led PAP to deepen its partnership with  these indigenous actors who have the trust of the Niger Delta people.
