DESOPADEC Board Members’ Wives Felicitates Delta First Lady, Tobore Oborevwori, On Birth Anniversary

The wives of the Board Members of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) on Thursday, 5th February, 2026, extended warm birthday felicitations to the Delta State First Lady, Her Excellency, Mrs Tobore Oborevwori, as she marks another milestone birthday.

The goodwill message was contained in a statement jointly issued by the Wife of the DESOPADEC Board Chairman, Mrs Maureen C. Nani, and the DESOPADEC Board Managing Director, Mrs Florence Ochonogor, on behalf of the wives of the board members.

In the statement, the group described the First Lady as amiable, compassionate, and motherly, noting that she has continued to inspire many through her exemplary conduct and commitment to service. They stated that Mrs Oborevwori’s life reflects grace, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility toward the people of Delta State.

The DESOPADEC Board Members’ wives further highlighted the First Lady’s consistent advocacy for the welfare of women, children, and other vulnerable groups across the state. According to them, her quiet strength, elegance, and inclusive approach to leadership have earned her widespread admiration and respect from different segments of society.

Mrs Nani and Mrs Ochonogor added that the group is grateful to God for the life of the First Lady, as they joined her family, the Delta State Government, and the people of the state in celebrating her birthday. They offered prayers for continued good health, peace, wisdom, fulfilment, and renewed strength in the years ahead.

The statement was endorsed by members of the group, including Mrs Eseoghene Kome Okpobor, Princess Mrs Faith Oghenero Okorodudu, Mrs Stella Ochuko Efele, Chief Mrs Beatrice O. Izoukumor, Chief Mrs Otega Love Egbo, Chief Mrs Rashidat Agboirosimeh Egbedi, Mrs Chinedu Enebeli.

Others are Mrs Stella Ekwi Ofe, Mrs Spencer Comfort Okpara, Mrs Chokpar Oliseh, Mrs Omasan Goru, and Mrs Ovbije Ufuoma, who collectively wished Mrs Tobore Oborevwori many more years of God’s abundant grace and impactful service to humanity.
