Aradhe Community Backs Oborevwori, Tinubu For Second Term

  • As Onojaeme Drums Support

MEMBERS of the All Progressive Congress (APC) of Aradhe community in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State have declared their support for the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori come 2027.

The endorsement was affirmed during the hosting of the Commissioner for Health, Dr Joseph Onojaeme, by APC faithful in the Community, which was held at the community Town hall.

Speaking at the meeting, one of the leaders of the APC in Aradhe, Hon Usido Ikelegbe, said the decision to endorse both leaders stemmed from their commitment to favourable programs and policies that are promoting economic empowerment and grassroots development.

He said,”We, indigenes of Aradhe community, endorse President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori for the 2027 election and reaffirm our unalloyed support, and also pass a vote of confidence on our brother and son, Dr Joseph Onojaeme, for his pragmatic leadership in Ellu, Ovrode, Aradhe Ward 3. We commend him for attracting dividends of democracy to us.

“I am equally appealing to eligible voters, who are 18 years and above, to register in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration exercise ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“I cannot over emphasise this — registering to vote is the single most powerful tool we have to shape the future of our community, state and our nation. Every new registration and every updated card is a voice secured for tomorrow.”

Others who corroborated Ikelegbe are Hon Jacob Ashano, Odio Oghogho, Odio Adhozebe, Lucky Ubogu and Aradhe community Chairman, Mr Michael Okoro. Responding, Dr Onojaeme made a passionate call for unity and continued support for the administrations of Governor Oborevwori and President Bola Tinubu.

He emphasised the importance of standing firmly behind the state government, stating that greater support for Governor Oborevwori would translate into more visible and impactful dividends of democracy for the people of Aradhe and beyond.

He pointed out that the state government has approved the upgrading of Aradhe health centre, the construction of Aradhe Ndoni Ovrode Road, phase one and the New Delta State school of health technology, Ovrode, which, when commissioned, will bolster socioeconomic and physical development of Erewosa (Ellu, Aradhe, Ovrode communities).

“This administration means well for Delta State. It is our collective responsibility to support Governor Oborevwori’s government so that more developmental projects, especially in the areas of healthcare, infrastructure, and youth empowerment, can reach every corner of the state,” he said.

Highlights of the meeting were the formal reception of new members who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.

Onojaeme and Ellu, Ovrode, Aradhe APC Ward Chairman, Mr Michael Efedhoma warmly welcomed the new members, assuring them of equal opportunities and inclusion within the party.
