The Special Adviser on Youth Development to the Chairman of the Southern Nigeria Youth Congress (SNYC), Chief Willingson-Adjarho Imonijeta, has distributed thousands of learning materials to three public schools in Uduophori and Odorubu communities in Patani Local Government Area repeatedly this year.
Presenting the learning materials, Chief Imonijeta said that the initiative was in line with the human capital development of the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Amed Tinubu and the Governor of Delta state Rt. (Hon) Sheriff Oborevwori.
It was shouts of joy for learners and teachers of Ege Primary school one and two in Uduophori community and Udovie Primary School, Odorubu community, Patani Local Government Area.
Presenting the school materials that include notebooks, pens, pencils, sharpeners and erasers, the Special Adviser on Youth Development to the Chairman of the Southern Nigeria Youth Congress (SNYC), Chief Willingson-Adjarho Imonijeta, said that the gesture was to promote the MORE Agenda of the state Governor by reaching out to school children at the grassroots.
He said “ our amiable Governor has charged the well to do youths in the state to reach out to areas he can’t reach, hence I used my foundation initiative to distribute free school materials to the children’’
Chief Imonijeta who is the Chief Executive Officer of Willingson-Adjarho Imonijeta Foundation said that the gesture is to enable the young learners attend classes without hindrance caused by lack of learning materials.
He encouraged the pupils to pay serious attention to their studies emphasizing that education is key to better and greater future.
Chief Imonijeta commended the teachers for their sacrifice and dedication to raising future leaders from schools at the grassroots. Some of the head teachers and teachers of Ege Primary schools one, and two at Uduophori and Udovie Primary School, Odorubu including Chief Pope Evugbore and Mr Silas Agboro expressed appreciation to the the Special Adviser on Youth youth Development to the Chairman of the Southern Nigeria Youth Congress, Chief Willingson-Adjarho Imonijeta for his support to the young school children. They noted that he has been doing this every year and his generosity always help the learners to attend school regularly and pay attention to their studies. Some of the school children expressed their happiness for the presentation of free school materials to them.
Also, Chief Sam Oborafokor lauded Chief Willingson-Adjarho Imonijeta for giving back to the society calling on others to emulate him.
Chief Imonijeta was accompanied by his team members including Chief Goodluck Urhoboghara, Henry Odor, Ofuafo Umukoro, Raymond Ogheneogaga, Felix Ojakovo and Endurance Okpedi.
