DPPC GM, Nwaebuni Preaches Love, Unity Among Staff

BY CHIKA KWAMBA

A renewed sense of camaraderie swept through the Delta Printing and Publishing Corporation (DPPC), publishers of The Pointer Newspapers, yesterday, as staff rallied together in unity to boost productivity.

At a general meeting held, yesterday, the General Manager, Mrs. Rosemary Nwaebuni urged staff to eschew divisive tendencies and commit wholeheartedly to the growth of the corporation, aligning their efforts with the vision and expectations of the state government.

The General Manager stressed the need for the staff members to embrace love, noting that much would be achieved individually and collectively when workers are united.

She cautioned against actions and attitudes that run contrary to the organisation’s mandate, noting that such could undermine progress, even as she appealed for the cooperation of all staff to propel the corporation to greater heights.

During the meeting, staff members commended the General Manager for the enabling environment to carry out their assignments, just as they also identified areas that needed consideration.

The  staff members passed a vote of confidence on her leadership since she assumed office two months ago, pledging to uphold and advance the state government’s policies and programmes in keeping with the corporation’s established mandate.

Among those who spoke at the meeting were Director, Chibuzor Isichei; Editor-In-Chief/HOD Editorial, Mrs. Edna Emeni; Editor (Daily), Mr. Cletus Ngwodo, Mrs. Rachael Ijenwa, Mr. Benson Okobi-Allanah, Mr. Patrick Mgbodo and Mr. Kase Greatness.
